WHY DO WE LIFT OUR HANDS?

WHY DO WE CLAP OUR HANDS?

"Oh clap your hands, all you peoples!  Shout to God with the voice of triumph."  Psalm 47:1

WHY DO WE HAVE AUDIBLE PRAISE TO GOD?

"Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name."  Psalm 103:1    "Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."  Hebrews 13:15     "After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, 'Alleluia! salvation and glory and honor and power to the Lord our God' ....And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, 'Alleluia! WHY DO WE HAVE SPEAKING IN UNKNOWN TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION IN THE CHURCH?

"Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues."  1 Corinthians 14:39     "But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for the profit of all...to another different kinds of tongues.  To another the interpretation of tongues."  1 Corinthians 2:7-10          "I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification."  1 Corinthians 14:5       "If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret."  1 Corinthians 14:27
