Join us for fun and team building! Form a team for a car scavenger hunt around Hillsborough- you’ll need a car, driver and smartphone for the team. Clues will be for all ages, though you’ll have the best chance with both adults and kids on your team. You don’t need to be a Hillsborough expert to solve the clues, as everything can be found via a Google search.
We will supply clues and a scoresheet for the 2-hour hunt. After the hunt is done, join us for a chili cook-off and contribute your special recipe or help us judge for bragging rights. Everyone in the community is welcome! Please register here, or you can register in person at the event.
The Rules
Unless there is a note of (any) in the clue, each clue is for a specific location.
Teams must take a photo with the sign, building or object described with all team members except for one, who will be the photographer.
There are 40 items on the list, with varying point levels. Teams must decide the best way to get the most points in the 2 hours allotted for the hunt.
Teams will be deducted 5 points for each minute late for returning back to the church.
Safety first! Please follow all traffic rules and park only in designated spaces.
Please be considerate of others when going to locations. All places are public; take only photos of the outside of locations and do not enter businesses.
